Welcome to our website
Riverside Muslim Association was established to serve and support the growing Muslim community in Barking Riverside. As one of the fastest-growing developments in the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Barking Riverside has seen significant population growth in recent years, with many families moving into the area from across London and internationally.
With this rapid growth has come a vibrant and diverse community that includes a large number of Muslim residents. Recognising the need to bring the community together, Riverside Muslim Association aims to provide a platform where Muslims in the area can connect, pray, learn, and contribute positively to the wider neighbourhood.
Our vision is to establish an Islamic Cultural Centre in Barking Riverside that will serve as a hub for spiritual development, education, and community engagement. The centre will provide facilities for congregational prayers, Islamic learning, youth activities, family support programmes, and cultural events.
Riverside Muslim Association is committed not only to serving the needs of the Muslim community but also to promoting unity, understanding, and cooperation with the wider and diverse community of Barking Riverside. Through dialogue, outreach, and community initiatives, we hope to contribute positively to the social and cultural development of the area.
