Barking Riverside is a new development in Thames Ward of Barking and Dagenham where 1000 dwelling were existed since 14 years but in the last 4 years there is rapid growth and construction is still going on which has almost double the community and to fulfil the public needs, 2 primary schools, 1 secondary school, community centre, church, shop, private nursery has been established in Barking Riverside. But as the communities are moving in from different part of London and abroad, we have noticed that there is large number of Muslims as well. We thought it is a necessity to bring the diverse Muslims together and establish an Islamic Cultural centre where the whole Muslim community can pray, learn and arrange other activities collectively as well as support and play the role in the growing diverse communities of Barking Riverside.
